The OUTNOW! Festival 2026 is coming to a close. The festival organizers invite artists, festival companions, and the audience to come together one last time for a discussion. What have we seen? What’s still on our minds? How does a festival in the independent scene work in 2026? And WHATNOW?

Hosted by Jordan Tanner, we’ll explore these questions over a cozy vegan Weißwurst-style breakfast and an Oktoberfest-inspired setting in the stage design of “Mia San Mia”.

About the Festival Companions

The Festival Companions are ten independent artists and cultural practitioners from the performing arts who accompany the OUTNOW! Festival and take part in a specially developed networking programme with theater-maker*, cultural manager*, and independent dramaturg* Jordan Tanner. Katze Greeven, Terrence Johnson, Cody Kluge, Nicolas Lenz, Neus Ledesma Vidal, Noa Noelani, Ilario Rascher, Daniela Ruocco, Tarja Spiekermann, and Varvara Kuporova experience all festival productions and WHATNOW? formats together and deepen key questions around making art and making festivals. At the close of the festival, they share their perspectives and resonances on this year’s edition.
